Editorial Policy — Standards, Independence & Transparency
This document sets out how PunterScore produces its predictions, how we maintain editorial independence, what our standards are for accuracy and transparency, and how we approach responsible gambling. It applies to every tip, article, and analysis published on the site.
Who We Are
PunterScore is a football predictions and betting analytics platform operated by Beta Web Analysis Limited, a company registered in Nigeria. The site publishes AI-generated football betting tips, statistical analysis, market guides, and responsible gambling information across 16 betting markets and 30+ leagues.
The lead analyst and editorial authority for all predictions and content on PunterScore is Ade Ola, who is responsible for the accuracy of the prediction model, the integrity of the results tracking, and the editorial standards applied to all published content. All major methodology decisions, market selection logic, and editorial guidelines are reviewed and signed off by Ade Ola.
PunterScore is an information and analysis service only. We do not accept bets, hold a gambling licence, or operate as a bookmaker. We are not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission or any other gambling authority. We are an editorial publisher of statistical analysis.
Editorial Independence
Every tip published on PunterScore is generated solely by the AI prediction model described in our Methodology page. No tip is influenced, requested, or paid for by any bookmaker, betting operator, odds comparison service, or any other commercial party.
PunterScore does not accept payment to feature, promote, or recommend any specific team, selection, market, or bookmaker in its predictions. Tips are generated by statistical model output only. No commercial relationship with any party can alter what the AI publishes.
Bookmakers and betting operators who advertise on or have affiliate relationships with PunterScore have no editorial access and no ability to influence which teams, markets, or odds are featured in predictions. The editorial and commercial functions are fully separated.
Tips are published when the AI model generates them — not when a bookmaker's market opens, not on a schedule driven by traffic considerations, and not in response to reader requests for specific teams. The model runs continuously and publishes according to its own probability thresholds.
Ade Ola and the PunterScore analytics team do not hold positions (financial or personal) in any gambling operator, bookmaker, or odds market. No analyst is required to produce tips favouring any specific outcome, team, or league.
Accuracy and Corrections
PunterScore is committed to producing statistically accurate predictions based on the best available data. However, all predictions are probabilistic — they represent the most likely outcome given the statistical evidence available, not certainties. Predictions will be wrong a meaningful percentage of the time even when the model is performing correctly.
Team news accuracy. Tips are updated when significant team news breaks — confirmed injuries, suspensions, and major tactical changes. However, there is always a period of uncertainty before official lineups are released (typically 60 minutes before kick-off). PunterScore cannot guarantee that all tips reflect confirmed lineup information, particularly for Anytime Goalscorer and player-specific markets. Users should always verify confirmed lineups before placing any player-dependent bet.
Odds accuracy. Odds quoted on prediction pages are representative at the time the tip is published and updated regularly. Actual available odds vary by bookmaker and change continuously — always verify current odds at your preferred operator before placing a bet. PunterScore does not guarantee quoted odds are available.
Corrections policy. When a factual error is identified in a published tip, analysis, or article — including incorrect xG figures, misidentified fixtures, or erroneous H2H data — the error will be corrected promptly and a note will be added to the relevant page indicating the correction was made and when. Corrections are never made retroactively to historical results data.
Transparency and Track Record
PunterScore maintains a complete, publicly accessible results record covering every tip published since launch. The results page shows win rates, profit/loss figures, and performance breakdowns by market, confidence tier, and league. Nothing is excluded — losing tips, losing markets, and losing streaks are recorded and visible alongside positive results.
Specific transparency commitments that distinguish PunterScore from non-transparent tipster services:
Every single tip is tracked from the moment it is published. Results are recorded as Won, Lost, or Void. No tips are retroactively removed from the record. No "free" selections are excluded from the performance calculation. The results page is a complete record, not a curated highlight reel.
All P&L figures are calculated on a flat 1-unit stake basis (0.5 units for correct score and anytime goalscorer). We do not use variable staking to inflate performance figures — a common manipulation used by less transparent services. The staking methodology is described in full on the Results page.
The statistical model that generates every tip is fully documented on the Methodology page. The xG inputs, probability models, H2H weighting, confidence calibration, and value filter are all described in enough detail for a statistically informed reader to independently assess the approach.
The model's known limitations — including its sensitivity to team news, its early-season data limitations, and its inability to model weather or referee factors — are documented in the Limitations section of the Methodology page. We do not claim the model is infallible or that any tip is a guaranteed winner.
Responsible Gambling
PunterScore takes responsible gambling seriously. While our primary function is statistical analysis and prediction, we recognise that our content is used in the context of sports betting — an activity that carries financial risk and can become harmful for some individuals. The following commitments apply across all content we publish.
All prediction content, market guides, and analysis on PunterScore is produced for adults aged 18 and over. Every page includes a clear 18+ notice. We do not target, market to, or create content suitable for minors.
PunterScore never claims or implies that any tip is a guaranteed winner. The language "certainty", "banker", and "sure thing" is never used to describe predictions. Even Exceptional-confidence tips are presented with explicit probability figures and honest statements that losses will occur.
Every tip includes a specific recommended stake expressed as a percentage of bankroll — never as a fixed monetary amount. Maximum stake recommendations are 2% of bankroll for Exceptional tips and decline to 0.25% for speculative high-odds picks. We actively discourage staking amounts that exceed recommended limits.
Every prediction page, results page, and market guide includes a prominent disclaimer section with direct links to BeGambleAware.org and GamCare.org.uk. These links are not hidden in footers — they appear immediately below the tip disclaimer on every page.
PunterScore's content never encourages bettors to increase stakes following a loss, bet more to recover a losing run, or deviate from their pre-agreed staking strategy. Loss-chasing advice — implicit or explicit — is strictly prohibited from all content on the site.

Advertising and Commercial Relationships
PunterScore generates revenue through display advertising and affiliate marketing relationships with bookmakers and betting operators. This section discloses how these commercial relationships work and confirms they do not influence editorial content.
Display advertising. PunterScore may display third-party advertisements on its pages. These advertisements are served by advertising networks and do not represent endorsements by PunterScore of any advertiser's products or services. Advertisers do not have access to editorial systems and cannot request specific placement or content changes.
Affiliate relationships. When a user clicks a link to a bookmaker from PunterScore and subsequently registers or deposits, PunterScore may receive an affiliate commission. These relationships are disclosed through standard affiliate disclaimer language where applicable. The existence of an affiliate relationship with a specific bookmaker does not influence which markets, tips, or odds are featured in our predictions — the AI model generates tips based solely on statistical analysis, not commercial considerations.
No pay-to-feature arrangements. PunterScore does not accept payment to feature specific bookmakers more prominently, to adjust odds references to favour a particular operator, or to include promotional content within prediction articles. Any promotional content is clearly labelled as such and is kept separate from editorial prediction content.
Complaints and Corrections
PunterScore welcomes corrections, feedback, and complaints from readers. If you believe a tip contains factually incorrect data, a methodology explanation is inaccurate, or any content on the site breaches this editorial policy, please contact us using the details below.
We aim to respond to all editorial complaints within 5 working days. If a correction is required, it will be published promptly. If a complaint relates to responsible gambling content, we will respond within 24 hours.
To raise a concern specifically about responsible gambling content — including if you believe any content on this site has contributed to gambling harm — please contact us directly and mark your message clearly as a responsible gambling concern. These messages are given priority handling.
This editorial policy was last reviewed on 9 May 2026. It will be reviewed at minimum annually and updated whenever significant changes to editorial processes, commercial relationships, or responsible gambling commitments occur.
